Massage for muscular back pain

Today's lifestyle often results in muscular pain caused by a range of issues such as:

  • Poor posture, perhaps due to working from home with a computer on your dining table or even on your lap!

  • Manual work which involves repetitive movements or over-burdening a particular muscle or group of muscles

  • Stress caused by a variety of factors

  • Recovering from an injury

All of these things can lead to lead to muscular imbalances, resulting in one muscle or group of muscles working harder to make up for weaker ones.  This can lead to significant and debilitating pain.  Knotted and tight muscles will benefit from deep tissue massage to release tension, increase blood and lymph flow for healing, and reduce pain.

As an experienced massage therapist, I can help to identify which muscles are actually causing the imbalances by identifying trigger points and using my knowledge of the various muscles and how they work together. Then using a variety of techniques I can help the muscles to heal faster.

Why not book in today and see how massage can release you from your pain.
